The Worldwide Feast will come to Moseley

11 October, 19:00 – 21.30 at Lewi’s Deli

You’re invited to get full on good

Join us on October 11 for The Feast Worldwide, a day of global dinner parties in 40+ cities across 6 continents. The goal? To spark collaboration that drives local entrepreneurs and social initiatives forward.

The idea is simple. We’re hosting a dinner around the future we want for our city.

“Progress in Moseley: A world where Go Local makes us stronger. “

We’re inviting incredible entrepreneurs to share their work making it happen. Choose one to sit with over dinner – and instead of talking about problems, talk about ways to support each other, collaborate, and make things work a tiny bit better. At the end of the dinner, we’ll seal the night with a commitment: one small action we can take to move the world forward.

This dinner is about connecting with each other over a simple meal and weighing into a global problem solving session. It’s a movement to get full on good.

JADE HOUGHTON, Who Am I?

10 of October – 10 December

You can come and view the exhibition at any time during our opening hours of 9am – 7pm Monday – Thursday or 9am – 6pm on Fridays.

Jade is a photographer based in Birmingham. Her work is focused on portrait.

This series shows how children see and express themselves in terms of identity. The use of hand painted pictures created by the children allows the audience to see how they, as children, see themselves thought self-expression.

Children’s portraiture is an area that fascinate Jade, which is how her initial ideas for this projects have developed. I wanted to present the children’s identities from their own perspective rather than from their parents. part of the experience of this projects was the interaction with the children and capturing their personalities as her goal.
