Lauren Hall, Suburban Environment

Opening Event, 6th of July; 7.30 – 8.30
Exhibition from 7th  of July – 8th of September

Her practice explores the suburban environment with particular emphasis on the uncanny and the hidden human presence. This photographic work is part of a new series which presents suburbia at night; indefinable dark space contrasted with pools of artificial light makes homes feel eerie, streets lapse into emptiness and an overwhelming silence betrays the inhabitant’s secrecy.

“Having graduated from Bath Spa University in 2014, she lives and work in Solihull, taking her inspiration from the buildings and artificial street lighting of the area. To find more of her work, visit her website www.cargocollective.com/laurenhallart
