History

Originally home to the 1930s telephone exchange and one of the tallest structures in the village, the exchange has been revamped and is now a modern open plan multi-functional space where members and the community can work, collaborate, exchange ideas & be inspired.

Still maintaining many of the listed buildings’ original features like the large windows and high ceilings, we are in the centre of Moseley village and offer the perfect location for visiting local amenities like the farmers market.

We have a multitude of unique businesses and interesting people working from here and we are proud to support the local community with the outreach work we do.

We are independently minded but collaborative at heart.

How did it all start?

The Moseley Exchange came to life with thanks to the Moseley Community Development Trust.

This charity recognised a need to have a collaborative space in the heart of the village where local independent businesses and other local charities would have a place to work, create and share. After significant development, the Moseley Exchange was opened on the 4th July 2009.

Since then we have been home to many businesses and charities – and we run several outreach programmes in the local community. We have a history of Moseley and its changes over the years displayed in the Exchange – come in and have a look.
