Happy International Coworking Week!

Coworking might be an unfamiliar concept to many but it’s taking the world by storm with over 2500 coworking spaces now operating across the globe. Moseley Community Development Trust began Birmingham’s first coworking space in 2009.

To celebrate international coworking week, Moseley CDT is inviting those starting a business or who need to work in a flexible way to come down and visit us at the Moseley Exchange this week. You could take out a Trial Pass (for 3 free sessions in the co-working space) or if you’re interested in social enterprise you could enter our change it competition to win free membership of the coworking space. You can find the Moseley Exchange in heart of Moseley – www.moseleyexchange.com

The change it competition is a joint venture with the Post Office and is supported byt DCLG. We’re looking for young social entrepreneurs who want to make a difference. Five, 12 month memberships (worth over £1000 each) are up for grabs – just go to http://www.moseleycdt.com/changeit and download the guidance notes.

Thats a Nice Hat!

Local illustrator, Natalie Ann is exhibiting her latest artwork at Moseley Exchange throughout July and August. The exhibition is a celebration of her brand new picture book, ‘That’s a Nice Hat!’, the story of an owl who is the envy of all the crowd because of his stripey red hat. The book aimed at young readers, has been written and illustrated by Natalie.

Alongside illustrations from, That’s a Nice Hat! Natalie is also presenting some of her other works, many of which are preview of her future publications.
